From Passion to Mission

Bōldernest began from a passion to heal.

After having to leave an eighteen-year teaching career due to chronic health issues, I embarked on a long and difficult journey to try to restore my health & the health of my family. I knew from experts that I needed to rid my body and home from any toxic overload to help with the healing process. This was no small task. Over many months I replaced common household items with toxin-free alternatives. This allowed my immune system to focus on healing my body instead of constantly battling additional toxic loads. Combining this chemical-free lifestyle was a huge catalyst in helping to ameliorate symptoms and allow the healing process to begin.

Finding organic products that were stylish, affordable, and held to a higher standard was not always easy. This ignited a spark to learn how to create the types of products I had struggled to find. I wanted to make it easier for families to find affordable and stylish organic products that would support their family’s health instead of hinder it. My passion soon blossomed into a mission – and Bōldernest was born.

At Bōldernest, we set out to source the purest, organic cotton that we could find that was also sustainability friendly to our planet.
